We are committed as a school to promote BSL and throughout BSL week, pupils enhanced their skills in various quizzes, signing games and songs to raise awareness of the deaf community. This week also gave our deaf pupils the opportunity to stand proud and promote their language.  We were fortunate to be invited by our local MP, Jen Craft to observe a live debate which aims to promote access to BSL to families and schools. We had the incredible opportunity to tour Parliament, sit in the House of Commons and observe a passionate debate with MP’s bobbing and have a Q & A session with an MP.
