In Assembly this week, we learned about the 2-day Jewish celebration - Rosh Hashanah. It is a special holiday when Jewish people celebrate the start of a New Year. Families celebrate together, eat special foods, attend services and think about how to have a happy and positive year ahead. Our pupils were fascinated by the loud sounds of the shofar horn and loved finding out about the special foods and traditions, including eating apples dipped in honey to wish for a sweet and happy new year. #warrenprimary #thriveatosborne #RoshHashanah #ReligiousEducation #assembly
