Number Day 2024

Warren wore something number related to support NSPCC Number Day

The whole school immersed itself in all activities to do with number in some very creative ways. For example…

In Year 5, the children were immersed in their 'mystery' mission, investigating 'who stole the school flag' where all the members of staff were suspects! Mr Kitchener may have been a potential suspect!

This worked really well as a team activity catering for a range of children through different challenges

In Year 1, the children played a selection of board games (Junior Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders, Scaredy Cat, and numeral and word Snap). After all that, the two classes competed at Mathletics online and in PE they warmed up by making different number shapes with their bodies. Finally, they ended the day by signing to 'Count on Me' by Bruno Mars.

In year 6, the children played a healthy, competitive game of BIDMAS Bingo.

Thanks to all who donated generously at the gate for the NSPCC. We raised a grand total of £311.00
