Year 6
Easter activities
As we approach the Easter Break, year 6 children will be bringing home a folder containing some work this week to support their work in year 6. Whilst it is not compulsory, we feel that it would be beneficial if the children could complete as many of the booklets as possible, over the Easter break. We have spoken to the children about prioritising subject areas that they feel they need more practice with. We do not wish for these tasks to cause the children any unnecessary pressure or stress, therefore, please encourage your child to complete what is manageable and achievable.
The answers to the questions (and a copy of the actual questions in case they are lost/damaged at home) can be accessed on the school website (follow Children/Class Pages/Year6). We have found the most effective way of addressing misconceptions is to mark as soon as possible after answering the questions, so we would advise that after each paper, you encourage your child to mark their own answers and try to work out where they may have made any errors.
Thank you for your continued support,
Year 6 teachers
