England Football Mascots

On Friday 7th June, three of our Deaf children were selected by the Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD) to be Mascots for the Euros send-off England v Iceland match at Wembley Stadium. RAD are proud to be the charity partner of EE for their 'Support. It's in Your Hands' campaign working with the Home Nations Football Associations.

Imogen, Sarah and Chloe greeted the players, went out with them onto the pitch and signed the national anthem in front of a sell out crowd of 81,410 people. It was an amazing opportunity for them to represent the Deaf community on such a large stage. All three girls loved it and had an amazing time, despite the final score. They signed the national anthem beautifully (even though the TV cameras did not show them) and did RAD and Warren proud.

A big thank you to the Royal Association for Deaf People who organised this with the school to give these children such a wonderful experience.
